1. Entry Cards: All entries cards must be official signed by a FOTHR Director or Lead FOTHR Supporter available at fothr.org. All online entries must be purchased prior to Saturday 6AM October 4th, 2008

2. Angling Methods: All bluefish entered must be caught on rod and reel using any legal method. Length of fish and catch limits must meet Federal and State laws.

3. Official Waters: Fish anywhere by boat or land in the Housatonic River from Stratford Bell Buoy 1, north to Shelton/Derby at the Derby Dam.

4. Weighing Station(s): Ayer’s Landing and or River’s End Marina, Shelton, CT.

5. Weighing: All fish must be caught after 6AM and presented at an official FOTHR Tournament Station before 12 pm. FOTHR personnel of weigh stations will conduct weigh-in. Entry card holders may weigh in as many times as they like following all state and federal regulations.

6. Judging: All entries will be approved and judged by the tournament judges. Suspicious fish will be gutted. Questionable entries will be disqualified. Decisions of the judges are final.

7. Ties: No duplicate awards will be made. All fish are weighed to 1/100th of a pound. Earliest weighed entry will be named winner, get your fish in early. Read more
